At Dentistry at Alton Towers, our team is always looking for ways to make high-quality dentistry accessible and affordable to all our patients. That's why we're excited to announce that we now accept patients using the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). This partnership with CDCP opens up a world of possibilities, allowing us to offer our wide range of comprehensive dental services to all patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care to protect their smiles and dental health.

Am I Eligible for CDCP?

There are a few ways you may be eligible to receive CDCP benefits:

  • You don't currently have dental insurance and have a household income of less than $90,000 per year
  • You are a senior aged 65 or older
  • You are a child under the age of 18
  • You are an adult with a valid federal Disability Tax Credit certificate

To qualify for CDCP, you also can't have access to dental benefits through a student organization, employer, or pension benefits. You can contact Service Canada if you have questions about eligibility for CDCP.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we do!

Dentistry at Alton Towers proudly accepts benefits from the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). The program is designed to help eligible Canadians without private insurance coverage access high-quality, essential dental care without financial barriers. CDCP eligibility is based on household income and other factors to help low- to middle-income families.

How Does the CDCP Work?

The CDCP covers many preventive, restorative, and corrective services, including routine cleanings and exams, fillings, and extractions. By offering financial support, the CDCP helps patients maintain optimal oral health by preventing minor nuisances from becoming major issues.

At Dentistry at Alton Towers, patients can use their CDCP benefits for covered treatments, making visits stress-free and affordable. The clinic works closely with patients to ensure they understand their coverage and treatment options.

With CDCP benefits, maintaining a healthy smile is easier than ever. You don’t have to compromise on quality or delay care because of costs. Book an appointment at Dentistry at Alton Towers today and take advantage of the CDCP to keep your oral health in check. Your smile deserves the best; we’re here to make it happen!

Understanding CDCP Coverage

family brushing teeth | dentists scarborough onCDCP is an excellent tool for helping defray the cost of dental care; however, there are some important parameters to understand. CDCP covers a portion of dental expenses, not the total cost of care. It's not customizable, and you are responsible for your portion of the cost of your dental care.

At Dentistry at Alton Towers, we believe in transparency. Some treatment procedures may require preauthorization, which means that we will submit your treatment needs to CDCP. They will then determine the amount of coverage you'll receive and your out-of-pocket expense, ensuring you are fully informed about your dental care costs every step of the way.

The CDCP benefit period covers 12 months—from July 1st to June 30th, and patients are reassessed each year to ensure their eligibility.
